LMSs are not antiquated has-beens. They offer a learner-centric personalized learning experience. They offer modern UI/UX, with feature sets that match and even surpass LXPs. So why can’t people just appreciate them? And recognize them for the good and possible?
You may be one of the people who takes a lot of time, making a decision when selecting a learning system (LMS, LXP, etc.). It could be due to the endowment effect or any number of factors, in the decision-making process. But sometimes, it is just trying to say yes, even though outloud you say nothing.
The third early trend in the learning system space is Performance. Some systems are jumping right in, others as add-ons, and still others, avoiding. Who’s right? It depends on your audience.
What does Enterprise really mean, when it comes to the learning system vendor space and e-learning providers? Does it impact you in anyway, by not knowing? The answer is yes, in many ways.

Creating a certification program, that isn’t just about IT, can be a value-add and benefit to your organization, company and yes, association. Tapping it within a learning system though, takes time, but the benefits are worth it.
How comfortable are you with your soon to be new learning system? If it is anything less than very comfortable. Take a breath, and reconsider. Because unless you have a strong comfort level, your decision may end up being a bad one.
